The UK is B3’s HQ and cable has been manufactured on this site since 1895. It has a total footprint of 113,000m2, employs over 130 people and manufactures telecommunications and rail cables. The UK introduced its Continuous Improvement philosophy under the Kaizen umbrella in 1998. Today the facility provides services from cradle to grave for cable from manufacturing, cut-to-length, next day delivery anywhere in the UK, drum management and recycling services.
Spain
Spain is B3’s Research and Design Centre and cable has been manufactured on this site since 1926. It has a total footprint of 74,000m2, employs over 300 people and manufactures optical fibre cables, telecommunications, rail, instrumentation and control cables. Today the facility provides services from cradle to grave for cable from R&D, manufacturing, cut-to-length, next day delivery anywhere in Spain, drum management and recycling services.
United Arab Emirates
The UAE is B3’s latest addition to the business and was established in Jan 2009 to access the growing Middle East market. It has a Regional Distribution Centre based in Dubai, along with other regional depots throughout the Gulf. It stocks over 300 products to ensure rapid customer service. The UAE RDC combined with B3’s Middle East Distribution Partners provides a one-stop-shop for a huge range of cabling requirements.
China
China is B3’s Asia Supply Chain hub, managing the procurement and global logistics for over 15 strategic vendors. The Chinese office ensures the highest levels of product quality are assured . A rigorous product inspection & release programme , regular audits and a commitment to work with our partners to continually reduce waste and take cost out of the process , provide further evidence of B3's investment in it's Global Supply Chain. B3's experienced Technical team can facilitate timely new product introduction with our supply partners and dramatically increases the scope of the product portfolio B3 can offer.
A key aspect of the Chinese office is The B3 Corporate & Social Responsibility programme, which represents B3's philosophy of only working with supply partners who share a similar vision. B3' Sourcing with Human Dignity Codes ensures that all supply partners operate to this standard and the programme is supported by regular assessments and periodic independent assessments by a leading consultancy in labour standards.
